Remoter is an audio plugin that lets you stream audio directly from your DAW to any device that supports a web browser.
This is useful for quickly checking the translation of a mix in your phone/headphones/laptop speakers.
Simply insert the plugin, start the server and scan the QR code to open the supported web app in your browser. Then click “Connect” to start streaming.
Additional information
In today’s reality, it is very important for a mix to be broadcast well on mobile devices. Often, customers listen to the mix directly on their smartphones, and I constantly encounter this myself. This plugin was recommended in his blog by Dave Pensado himself. A great solution for “shit control” of your mix in real time. The plugin is attached to the master bus, the Server button is launched, and then you can establish a connection with a smartphone or other device via URL or QR code. You can listen to the mix on your smartphone and make edits in real time. Tested on Win10 Cubase 12, everything works. On the manufacturer’s website, the plugin costs 20€.
