How to download

Getting a program takes a few minutes. Follow the steps below, one by one.

Before you start, you need:

    A torrent app to receive the files. Free: qBittorrent (qbittorrent.org). Without it the download button will not work.
  • 2
    A file extractor to open ZIP and RAR files. Free: 7-Zip (7-zip.org). Mac can do this by itself.
  • 3
    A music program such as FL Studio, Ableton Live, Cubase or Logic, to use the plugins.

    Install a free torrent app (one time only)

    Our downloads are shared as torrents, so you need a torrent app on your computer. We recommend qBittorrent: it is free, safe and works on Windows and Mac. Go to qbittorrent.org, click Download for your system and install it like any other program. Already have a torrent app such as uTorrent, Transmission or Deluge? Skip this step.

    You only do this once. After that, every download on this site works the same way.

    Find your program with the search box

    Type the name in the search box at the top of any page. Matching programs appear while you type, with the systems they support (Windows, macOS, Kontakt…) next to each name. Example: type “waves”, then click “Waves – Ultimate 17”. Press Enter instead to see all results.

    Tip: a short name works best, for example “serum” instead of the full title. Choose the version that matches your system.

    Click “Download Torrent”

    On the program page, the download buttons are under the name. Click the green “Download Torrent” button. This is the button that works right now, so you can ignore the others.

    Let your browser open the torrent app

    A small box asks to open your torrent app. Click “Open” (tick “Always allow” so it never asks again). If nothing opens, the torrent app from step 1 is not installed yet: install it, then click the button again.

    Choose where to save

    The torrent app shows the files inside the download. Pick a folder you will find easily, such as Downloads, leave the files ticked and press OK.

    Wait for 100%

    The progress bar fills up while the files download. Keep the app open. When it says 100% and the status is “Seeding” or “Completed”, the download is finished. Speed depends on how many people share the file.

    Open the folder and extract

    Go to the folder you chose. If the download is a ZIP or RAR file, right-click it and choose Extract (free 7-Zip or WinRAR on Windows; on Mac just double-click). Read the README file if there is one.

    Install and rescan plugins

    Run the installer, or copy the plugin file (.vst3) to your VST3 folder: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 on Windows, /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 on Mac. Then open your music program, press “Rescan plugins” and look for the new plugin in your effects or instruments list.

    Tip: if the plugin is still missing, restart your music program and check that you installed the 64-bit version.
