EXTENSIVE ELECTRIC PIANO COLLECTION
The Stage EP features multi-layered sample packs collected from the world’s most impressive electric pianos! AIR’s engineering team painstakingly sampled each electric piano model in Germany to ensure they capture the natural beauty of the instrument’s acoustic characteristics.
Rhodes
An example of the legendary classic EP instrument that was ultra-innovative for its time. Using a “tuning fork strike” method to create its sound, the original instrument features a metal tone bar that adds resonance and sustain to create a full sound with a distinct growl.
Rhodes Hot
Same basic tones as the standard Rhodes model, but with extra gain to warm up the signal and enhance the instrument’s sweet harmonic overtones.
Suitcase
Part of the classic Rhodes family, the Suitcase revolutionized the sound that can be heard on countless recordings from the 70s. The Suitcase adds an 80-watt amplifier and an exaggerated ring tone from the era’s advanced pickups – great for classic jazz or funk.
Wurli
Based on one of the most highly acclaimed and legendary EPs in history, the Wurli model for the Stage EP is based on a “string and reed” design, giving it a sweet, vibraphone-like tone.
Pianet
A soft and discreet model based on the classic leather-on-metal design that gives a special atmosphere that is different from other models. Ideal for soft and expressive passages that can capture the imagination and soothe your soul.
