For those wondering how to install, simply double-click on “SymLink Installer” and you’re all done. The command script will automatically install in your VST folder in C:/ so you don’t have to copy and paste manually. Ofc, if you wish to do it manually, the C folder has the 2 folder for you to copy and paste them yourself.

Guys it WORKS…

After download, copy ‘Soundtoys’ folder anywhere you want on your PC. Like your plugin storage or something, but not in actual your VST installation folder.

>Then run “SymLink Installer.cmd”.
(Make sure Windows won’t block cmd.exe. If it does, give the permission via Windows Defender notification and try again)
>When on the Command Line windows display “Press any key” – do it.
>Open your DAW
>Refresh plugins
>Done

If plugins still don’t show on the list it is possible your DAW doesn’t scan right folder. The SymLink install plugin to the “C:\Program Files\VstPlugins” so you have to change the path in the .cmd file everywhere it is.

DO NOT DELETE those files or it won’t work.

But if you want to change ‘Soundtoys’ folder placement:
> Launch “SymLink DeInstaller.cmd”
> Move folder to your destination
> Run “SymLink Installer.cmd”

Tested on Reaper
Windows 10 64-bit
