Small Ensembles, Huge Sounds
Small string ensembles exude a unique charm, combining intimacy with a focused clarity of sound. Their compact size fosters a heightened level of communication between musicians, allowing for a delicate and nuanced interplay.
Their very direct tonal color suits a wide range of genres and projects, but also demands the most accomplished musicians. For this collection we therefore handpicked the eponymous elite of our own Vienna Synchron Orchestra to deliver the intimate and virtuosic sound with the signature Vienna flair that’s equally at home in sparse chamber works as it is in modern productions and contemporary music.
